Where has the time gone? Truly? You, Darwin Elizabeth, weighed in at the pediatrician’s office yesterday at 13 pounds, 14 ounces. I’m holding you now–6:11am, the quiet before a very busy day–and you seem so big! So baby, less infant. So solid, less fragile.
Milestones whipping by like markers on I-65. I keep offering myself gentle (and not so) reminders to soak this in while it is here. Breathe deeply.
Sleeping twitch now; sweet dreams, I
hope. The day calls, beautiful baby girl.
